Kangra Central Co-operative Bank fugitive nabbed by Vigilance team in Mumbai

A State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau sleuth succeeded to dug out Dinesh Davit , a willful defaulter and fugitive from Mumbai who was wanted by state agencies for Rupees three crore Embezzlement case for last three years. A press release issued by the Una unit of state Vigilance said that a team under the leadership of inspector Harish Guleria, the along with  constable Subhash Chand and Manoj Kumar, was in Mumbai for last one week to search for the accused Dinesh Davit son of Mr. Satpal Singh, resident of Selja Bihar Tehsil and District Una.   After searching at several possible places of the accused, the team has succeeded in arresting him on February 22, 2022.  This person was wanted in two cases registered in Vigilance Police Station Una and was absconding for a long time.  In connivance with the employees of The Kangra Central Co-operative Bank , this person is accused of embezzling about three crore rupees by making several fake loans.  Transit Remand of 04 days has been obtained by presenting the accused in the local court of Mumbai on 21-2-23.  He will be presented in the Sessions Court Una tomorrow. He would be further quizzed by the Vigilance after getting police custody from Court. State vigilance said that they took assistance of Mumbai Police to nabbed the accused.
