JP Nadda inaugurates several facilities at AIIMS Bilaspur
All India Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda on Friday inaugurated several new facilities at AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and laid the foundation stone of ‘Vishram Sadan’. In this sequence, he inaugurated other new facilities including a liquid medical oxygen plant with a capacity of 40 thousand liters built at a cost of 4 crore rupees and modern machinery installed for advanced radiation therapy at a cost of ₹ 30 crore.
Union Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister and MP Shri Anurag Thakur and former Chief Minister Shri Jairam Thakur were present in this program.
Speaking on occasion, Nadda said that due to the efforts of Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya and Energy Minister Shri RK Singh, many new facilities have been provided to AIIMS Bilaspur. He said that the facility of liquid medical oxygen plant with a capacity of 40 thousand liters built at a cost of ₹ 4 crore has been inaugurated. Similarly, in Radiation Oncology, modern machinery has been installed for advanced radiation therapy at a cost of ₹ 30 crore and CT scan facility has been started. Today, the foundation stone of Vishram Sadan with a capacity of 350 beds has also been laid. While congratulating and thanking the Health Minister and the Energy Minister for equipping AIIMS Bilaspur with these facilities, the Honorable Chairman said that with these facilities, the health and treatment facilities for the residents of the hilly region will become many times better and easier.
The BJP National President said that under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has made rapid progress and development in every field including health. Every class has got a new direction and the country has succeeded in moving forward. The Corona epidemic was the biggest epidemic of the entire century and no one knew its treatment and prevention.
Nadda said that in 2 months of covid crisis, he prepared the country and in just 112 days, about 2500 oxygen plants were installed across the country, due to which India’s oxygen production capacity reached 3000 tons per day. Apart from this, under the BJP government led by respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Indian scientists saved the country from this epidemic by preparing two indigenous vaccines in just 9 months. As a result, 220 crore vaccines were administered across the country. India exported vaccines to 100 countries and provided 30 crore vaccines to many countries under Vishwa Maitri.
Nadda said that it was the dream of the local people to build AIIMS in Bilaspur and this dream has come true because of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that in 10 years the investment in Chandigarh PGI has increased tenfold. On 25th, Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of All India Medical Institute in Bathinda. Sharing his personal experience, he said “When I was a young student, I used to say that education is our birthright”, but professional education is a privilege given by the society.
Nadda said that when Mansukh Mandaviya was the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers when he was the Health Minister, the prices of stunts had reduced because of Shri Mansukh Mandaviya. The prices of medicines were reduced through Jan Aushadhi. Earlier people did not give much importance to Ayurveda but under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Ayurveda and Yoga have gained importance at the global level. The BJP government is conducting health checkup of all people above 30 years of age.
