Jai Ram Thakur to be Leader of Opposition in the Assembly

Former Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur was elected leader of BJP legislature party during meeting of party Vidhyak Dal here today. A communique released here today said said Jai Ram Thakur elected unanimously in the BJP Legislative party meeting today. Jai Ram Thakur who six time MLA from Seeraj was forler Chief minister but he could not managed the party returned to again. Mr Thakur would be declared LOP soon by state assembly as BJP have minimum majority of 25 to elect BJP Legislative party leader. Among those who are senior leader in party Vidhyak Dal are Satpal Sati, Randhir Sharma and Anil Sharma, Vikram Singh and Sukhram Chaudhary. All the MLAs are yet to take oath for 14 th state legislative assembly as winter session is scheduled soon at Tapovan Vidhansabha complex near Dharmshala for which new scheduled may be decided soon.
