Inspection of Land Parcels to usher fresh investments in Himachal
As envisioned by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to develop Kangra as a hub for tourism, information technology, ITES and Ayush wellness sector, Industries and Ayush Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan directed the Industries department to conduct a joint inspection of identified sites along-with revenue officials for attracting investments in IT/ ITES, Ayush/ Tourism sectors.
A Spokesperson of the Industries department informed here today that a joint inspection was conducted by the industries officials along-with revenue officials of land parcels located in Tehsil Dharamshala, Baroh, Nagrota Bagwan and Shahpur of Kangra District.
The members of the joint inspection team included Director of Industries Rakesh Prajapati, Additional Director Tilak Raj Sharma, SDM Shahpur M.L Sharma, SDM Dharamshala Shilpi Bekta, GM DIC Kangra Rajesh Kumar and Project Lead, EY Sumit Sagar Dogra.
The sites which were inspected by the team include Muhal Kiorian, Tehsil Shahpur Charaghah bila Dharakhtan (71 Kanal), Muhal Juhal, Tehsil Dharamshala Jangal Mehfuja/Mehduda (19 hectares), Muhal Chandrot and Tehsil Baroh, Charaghah bila Dharakhtan (95 Kanal). All these lands belong to the state government. Besides, the site at Muhal Gujrehra, Tehsil Dharamshala ‘Banjar Kadim/ Khadaiter’ (250 Kanal) was also inspected which is a private land.
