Information about digital banking given to people in Shathali

 In order to provide information to people about banking service-related schemes, Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank organized a digital financial literacy camp on Thursday at Shathli near Junga, in which about 50 people from the area participated.
On this occasion, branch manager Vishal Sharma gave information to the people about digital banking and cashless transactions. He urged the people not to share the secret PIN and OTP of their ATM with anyone else and beware of fake calls so that no anti-social mischievous element can do any transaction from their account. He informed the people about the process of making secure transactions in the rapidly increasing use of online banking systems.
In the camp, people were given information about social security schemes like PMEGP, MMSY, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Him Swarozgar Credit Card, PMJJY, PMSBI, Atal Pension Yojana, etc. Apart from using debit cards, he also made people aware of Himpaisa, the mobile app of the State Cooperative Bank. He said that the Himpaisa app is very secure and the fastest means of money transactions. Apart from this, he encouraged people to open accounts in banks. In the camp, members of the self-help group Shathali, GR Bhardwaj, Darshan Das Kashyap, Indra Dutt, Meena, Shanti Devi, Lalita, Laik Ram, Lakshmi Ram and local people including Kamal Kishore from the bank participated.
