Independence Day celebrated with great pomp in Rajgarh

The 78th sub-division level Independence Day celebration was held with great pomp at Ambedkar Bhawan Rajgarh. SDM Rajgarh hoisted the flag in the premises of SDM office Rajgarh and took the salute of the police NCC contingent. After that a cultural program was organized at Ambedkar Bhawan Rajgarh. In which first of all, Praveen Sharma of Palu village of Rajgarh, who was recently martyred in an encounter with terrorists, was paid tribute by observing two minutes of silence. In his message, the SDM said that today we are celebrating 78th Independence Day. Countless heroes have sacrificed their lives to free our country from the chains of slavery. Today, first of all, tribute should be paid to them and to make their dreams come true, work should be done to maintain brotherhood and unity in the country. He said that today our country is on the path of becoming Vishwa Guru and with the collective efforts of all of us, our country will soon become Vishwa Guru. On this occasion, cultural programmes were presented by students of government and private schools in which a glimpse of the culture of the country and the state was given along with patriotic songs and poems were recited. On this occasion, people who did excellent work in various fields of society were honoured with mementoes and certificates.
