Including kid 5- die in car mishap in Chopal Shimla district
Five person including a kid die in car mishap that took place in Kupvi area of Chopal Subdivision, about 100 km from this capital of Himachal on Monday. Subdivision Police Officer Dy SP Rajkumar confirmed the accident and said that five persons including a child died tragically in the accident took place on Monday evening in Kupvi area of sub-division Chopal.
The accident occurred when car carrying five people skidded on slippery snowy road rolled into a deep gorge. The wreckage of the ill-fated car spread into pieces. Soon after information a police team reach on the spot and evacuated the dead bodies out of the ditch. The accident took place near Shangoli village of Chadoli gram panchayat.
Four died on the spot but a child could be rescued in an injured condition, who also died before reaching the hospital.
The identity of the deceased couldn’t established so far. Police officer said that deceased appeared to belonged to same family, who were residents of Naura-Baura Panchayat of the area. The identification to establish their name is being done.
