BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the biggest announcement regarding the youth was made by the Congress leaders in Himachal Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi, and Alka Lamba, that as soon as Congress comes to power, employment to 5 lakh youth and this first cabinet meeting. There was an announcement to do so, and several meetings were held, yet nothing has been done. Priyanka Vadra announced that she would give compensation of Rs 1500 to 22 lakh women. Still, nothing happened. Rather, the Jairam Thakur government of Bharatiya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh, which was giving pensions to women from Rs 1150 and Rs 1350, increased it to Rs 1500. Congress had said that an additional 22 lakh women would also be paid, but nothing has happened till now. Congress said that 300 units of electricity would be given free but nothing happened, on the contrary, the 125 units of free electricity that Jairam Thakur’s government was giving in Himachal Pradesh was also stopped. It was also announced to start a startup fund of Rs 680 crore for the youth, but nothing came of it.

Sambit Patra said that Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi had said that they would provide free treatment to every village through mobile clinics in Himachal Pradesh, but nothing was achieved. Congress in Himachal Pradesh had said in its manifesto that it would buy 10 liters of milk every day from cattle farmers, but nothing happened. The youth requested and started hashtags on Twitter but nothing happened. Congress promised that cow dung would be bought at Rs 2 per kg, these people who were against cow progeny came under pressure and said that they would buy milk and cow dung, but nothing happened. Taking a dig at the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sambit Patra said that Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had said that 67 thousand posts are still vacant, 1 lakh people will be given jobs by adding 33 thousand new posts, but nothing happened.
