IMD sounds alert of Monsoon fury 

Indian Meterogical Department warned state disaster management authority here today issuing alert of Monsoon fury in next three days, communication issued here by IMD Director Surinder Paul informed.He said that

increase in rainfall activity in HP during next two to three days likely wreaked hovac from July 28th to 30th which may caused moderate to heavy rainfall associated with one or two spells of very heavy fall in the state. The parts of Shimla district , Bilaspur , Sirmaur , Solan , Una , Hamirpur , Kangra , Mandi , Kullu , Chamba , adjoining area may caused peak rainfall in next 36-48 hrs.  It is further intimated that moderate rainfall with isolated spell of heavy rainfall also likely in parts of Lauhal Sipti and Kinnaur district during next 48 hrs .  Following impacts are expected in view of above and reduced visibility conditions creating difficulty to commute. Increased runoff in streams , nullah and other channel leading to flashfloods .  Disruptions of essential services viz , water , electricity , and communications systems in mid and high hills of the state .  Blockages of National and State Highways difficult to tourist and public at large .  Flashloods likely in parts Lauhal Spiti and Kinnaur district also. IMD cautioned  state and People remain vigilant and take adequate safety measures in the light of above warning.
