IIM Sirmaur Conducted MDP on Personal Excellence for the officials from HPCL

The Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur recently conducted a 2-day Management
Development Programme titled “Personal Excellence” for officials of Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation Ltd from 22nd to 23rd March 2024. The programme was specifically designed
for officials from the Green R&D Centre, aimed at enhancing managerial skills.
Mr. V. K. Maheshwari, Executive Director of the Green R&D Centre, HPCL, inaugurated the
session. Mr. J. Mahesh from the HR department was also present for the inauguration with
Prof. Parijat Lanke and Prof. Advaita Rajendra from IIM Sirmaur who facilitated the
sessions. The process of co-learning with the participants involved a series of interactive
sessions focused on understanding strengths, team dynamics, learning styles, mastering the
art of emotion regulation, and mindfulness techniques like the ‘raisin exercise’. The
programme emphasised on the value of working within teams and provided fresh
perspectives on personal excellence tailored to the needs of R&D professionals. The MDP
Chairperson, Shashi Kant Srivastava said, “we look forward to an enduring relationship with
HPCL”

excellence in the very important domain of R&D.
