IIAS Shimla to Host 9th Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Lecture on India-Europe Cultural Reflections
The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS), Shimla, is all set to host the 9th Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Lecture on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. This annual lecture series honors the legacy of the renowned poet and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore by bringing together distinguished scholars to discuss themes of cultural and intellectual significance. This year’s lecture, titled “India and Europe: Facing Mirrors, Merging Reflections,” will be delivered by Professor Oscar Pujol Riembau, Director and Founder of Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi.
The lecture will commence at 3:00 PM in the IIAS Library Hall, Rashtrapati Nivas, Shimla. Guests are requested to be seated by 2:45 PM for the event.
