IGMC records Four cases scrub typhus
Indra Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla recorded four fresh cases mysterious viral fever scrub typhus in this rainy season.
Senior Medical Superintendent of IGMC Dr Janak Raj said that out of 84 sample tested for scrub typhus this Session four are tested positive for viral infection.
It is worth while to mention that this outbreak spread among people during rainy season from a flee and bug bite in the grassy landscape and bushes.
About 35 to 50 People died every year from this seasonal fever which mostly infecting rural women.
