IGMC Admin action against Soical works vindictive: Protesters

Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital throw out the utensils of renowned Soical Workers Bobby Vaila on Saturday when he was not in the town and undergoing Kedney translation at Max hospital Mohali, a police officer confirmed here today .
The action of IGMC was criticised by the citizens of town stating that it show vindictiveness of hospital administration as nobal cause could not be expected to reward like this.
Mr Bobby is distributing free food to patients and their attendent in the hospital for last eight years as he run a Soical welfare association ” All Mighty blessing.
Bobby in January this year had leveled allegations of being victimized at the hands of IGMC administration. 
He had demanded that the tender of the Rain basera, which he had helped building up should be cancelled and should not be given to a single party.      
IGMC Sr Medical Superintendent Dr Janak Raj defending the allotment of tender of Rain Basera had stated that ‘Social workers, too, need to follow law and procedures.

SrMS questioned the building big  structures on government land without permission and allegedly staking claim on it. 
Adhir Rohal a local residents and Journalist pointed out that if something is against law and civic rule the organisation could be issued notice however the  premises was vacated in tearing hurry when Mr Bobby was undergoing treatment and recovering outside the town.
Yogesh verma a CA and citizen said that action of IGMC Administeration is shameful.
It is worthwhile to state here that till 2014, no such free 24X7 langar facility was ever available at the State hospital. 

Bobby was performing last rites of unclaimed, unidentified bodies till 2014  took another yeoman service by launching free kitchen and starting a free langar near IGMC. 
It was out of compassion by former Virbhadra Singh Goverment that he was provided some space near Cancer hospital of IGMC, to extending his free service.
Former  Chief Minister Virbhdra Singh who himself remained in the hospital was seen eating Chapati offered by Bobby in the hospital wards.
Mr Singh and Bobby also uploaded a clipping on Soical Media to appreciated lateral  noble cause.
With increasing  Bobby even took another unique initiative and created a Roti bank for this free langar canteen, which too became a success.    

In early this year 2021 IGMC administration allocated the langar space to some other social worker or organization, and as per statements from the authorities.
It has been learnt that Lions club Shimla held a lungar at IGMC on last Sunday.
A Functionary of Lions club said that since Mr boby is in Mohali club held the lungar for the patients and distribute hundreds of packets.
To condemned action of IGMC Administeration, NSUI  held a silent protest before the Statute of Mahatma Gandhi at Ridge ground at 1710 hrs on Sunday which was attended by by Congress member of Assembly Mr Vikramdittya Singh and former Deputy Mayor Harish Janartha. NSUI and Youth Congress also given call to hold Dharna before the IGMC hospital to allow Mr Bobby to continue his free service for the public in the hospital permises.
