HPSSC questions paper leak case: 3 persons booked
State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau registered another FIR regarding the leakage of question papers in the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission on Friday.
The spokesperson of SV&ACB said that FIR had been registered under sections 409, 420, 120B IPC & 12, 13 ( 1 ) ( a ), 13 ( 2 ) PC Act has been registered in Police Station, SV & ACB Hamirpur on inquiry report submitted by Inspector Sanjay Kumar inquiry officer of police station SV & ACB Mandi.
The FIR pertains to the leakage of the question paper of Auction Recorder Post Code 899. Six seats of said Post Code were advertised by the erstwhile HPSSC Hamirpur on 08.04.2021 on the requisition of the Managing Director, HP State Agriculture Marketing Board, Shimla, and a written exam was held on dated 11.09.2021.
The result of the written examination was declared on dated 05.03.2022. A total of 405 candidates appeared in the written examination and on the basis of merit of the written examination, 23 candidates were called for document verification on 28.12.2021.
Lastly, at the conclusion of the recruitment process, 06 candidates were declared successful. Subsequently, 03 additional posts of the said postcode were recommended to be filled from the waiting panel.
Thus, in total, 09 candidates have been selected for the said postcode. This case has been registered against 03 persons whose prima facie roles have been established during the inquiry into the leakage of the question paper of above mentioned Post Code.
