Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Scheduled Caste Department State Executive meeting was held at Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla under the chairmanship of President Shri Amit Nanda in Honorable State Congress President Smt. Pratibha Singh MP, Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, and the Honorable Minister of Health, Social Justice, and Empowerment were present as the chief guests. And Sainik Welfare Himachal Pradesh Government Shri Dhaniram Shandil was especially present.
Addressing the workers, Mrs. Pratibha Singh said that the Congress Scheduled Caste Department is an important department of the Congress organization and this department is always active in elections. She said that the workers should start preparing for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from now on. This time, to uproot the dictatorial government of the country, every Congress worker will have to work on the ground. He said that the work of the workers working in the organization should be done on a priority basis by the government.
Senior Minister of Himachal Government, Dr. Colonel Dhani Ram Shandil said that the Scheduled Caste Department is an integral part of the Congress Party, due to which 10 MLAs of the Congress Party have been elected in the Assembly today. It is the priority of the government to implement many such schemes for the development of the Scheduled Caste category. Public welfare schemes are being run in which even the last person in the society will get its benefits.
President, of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, Scheduled Caste Department, Amit Nanda said that as per the guidelines of the All India Congress Committee, the Scheduled Caste Department has run many programs of the party from time to time and at present Constitution protectors are being appointed in every assembly constituency. We have set a target of 50000. Constitution Day will be celebrated on 26th November in every assembly constituency of Himachal Pradesh and the place for the state level will be selected soon. For the Prevention of Atrocities Act, law expert coordinators have been appointed in all the 12 districts, with the help of the society. Any victim’s family can take it.
Amit Nanda said that in the month of December this year, as per the format of the All India Congress Committee Scheduled Caste Department, a meeting of the National Executive is proposed in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, about which its date will be decided after talking to the Honorable Chief Minister and preparations will be made for it. Responsibility will be assigned to the people of the organization. Before this, he welcomed and thanked the Honorable President, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, and the Honorable Minister, who were specially present in today’s meeting, that despite their busy schedules, they took time for the meeting. Yashpal Tanaik, General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee and in charge of the Scheduled Caste Department, welcomed all the officials present in the meeting and encouraged them to increase the activities of the organization in their respective blocks and districts in the coming time and to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. Called for. During this, under the chairmanship of Amit, 10 people from Shimla Krishna Nagar Ward took membership in the Congress Party and expressed full faith in the policies of the Congress Party. After the meeting, a delegation of the State Congress Committee Scheduled Caste Department under the chairmanship of Shri Nanda met Honorable Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu at his residence Oak Over, and presented a check of Rs 2 lakh for the Disaster Relief Fund.
