HP police honour dedicated lady cops
Two lady cops who are being given preference in Ambulance quitted the ambulatory service to help the victims of Manali-Shimla HRTC bus mishap on Monday was honoured by the state police for showing dictation and respect to uniform by refusing rescue on priority , police officer confirmed here today. As stated earlier HRTC Bus had an ill-fated accident at Chandigarh-Manali National Highway near Deyod-Pandoh, Mandi. Two ladies constables of Shimla District namely constable Anju posted at PP Summer Hill and lady constable Sheetal Posted at female Police Station BCS on prisoner duty from MC Jail Kanda, had boarded the same bus with a female prisoner, coming back to Shimla after hearing in the Court of Ld. Addl. Session Judge, Kullu. Both lady constables along with prisoner lady were badly injured in the accident. During the rescue process lady constables were being given preference in the ambulance to go hospital for Medial aid. But these Police officials without caring about their lives, denied to go hospital without the prisoner and preferred their duty more and finally went to the hospital along with injured female prisoner. These lady constables have shown actual devotion and dedication towards their duty and service of mankind. Shimla Police appreciates their devotion towards their duty by which they have honored the Khakhi. DGP-HP has also appreciated both the lady constables and granted CC Class-1st alongwith cash reward of Rs. 500/- each for their exemplary work.
