HP Assy Poll, PM may announces Tribal Status to Transgiri area of Himachal

Only Two day have been left for Prime Minister Narendra Modi Shimla visit which was scheduled here by ruling party ahead of Shimla MC and forth coming Assembly Election in the state but talk of the town as does PM going to announce any major bonaza for people of state. The Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur and state Party president Suresh Kashayap have met with party senior leader recently about the agenda of meeting and it was expected that Prime Minister may announced Tribal Status to Transgiri area of Sirmaur district which is one and half decades old demand of Hati community which claimed to be sister tribe of tribe of Jonsar-babar area of Uttrakhand already getting tribal status. It is worthwhile to mention that this agenda also figured in 2019 Lok Sabha and 2017 Vidhan sabha election of ruling party. Recently union government was warned by the Hati community that they could bycot Assembly poll ahead if the Election Manifesto promise was not met. It may be little bit late but ruling party may get slight edge over four Assembly seat in Sirmaur district if on May 31 PM announced it. Lok sabha member from Shimla and party state president Suresh Kashayap is under pressure with in his home district to do or leave Politics if he could not assure this promise. Registrar General of India recently given approval to provide Tribal Status to Transgiri area of Sirmour district which includes Shilai, Dadahu, Rajgrah, Renuka, Sangrah and part of Ponanta Sahib. This issue could not sorted out by the successive Government in Delhi as anothrogenic study didn’t support the tribal status under Schedule Tribe Special Area Act. The only logic given by the Hati Community is that when Jonsar-babar area of Uttrakhand having same tribe under Tribal Status why they could not. Now major challenge before the BJP president to bring about ten thousand crowd to Shimla Rally may be possible if such announcement would be made. The Party have decided to bring around 30000 party activists to Shimla to commemorate the eighth year of Modi Government but this time PM have to announce big package for the hill state. During similar visit in previous NDA regime Atal Behari Vajpayee have been announced to provide thousands of Crores of Additional assistance from the centre. Leader of Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri have stated that Mr Modi provided only Rs 500 Cr Additional assistance in last five years whic negligible compared to any other PMs announced previously. Former Mayor  Sanjay Chauhan said that it is worth mentioning that PM should fulfil his promise of 24/7 water supply scheme to Shimla, imposing 100 per cent import duty onthe Apple, supplying apple concentrate to use in fruit juices and set up plant for it. He said that Election promise made in the past two Lok Sabha Election and one assembly should be expected by the Prime Minister.
