Hindustan Tibet National Highway close after a rock slided on road

 Hindustan Tibet National Highway blocked between Kiran Bridge and Akpa under Moorang Tehsil of Kinnuar district this evening as boulders and rocks slides on the road , district Administration confirmed.
Deputy commissioner Kinnaur Apoorva Devgan said that recent post monsoon rain and snow fall triggered landslide and boulders on the high way between Kiran Bridge and Akpa in Moorang Tehsil of district disrupting the movement of traffic on the  National Highway -5 during the Mandi bye election at 2030hrs on Friday.
He said that District Disaster management authority informed him that Kinnar an incident of Rock-slide occurred and movement of traffic have been closed.
During recent post monsoon rain and snow about 15 trekkers and Tourist 21 rescued in heavy snowfall and drowning in the rivers in the state. Twi two of the missing trekkers couldn’t traced for last ten days who trapped in snowstorm on 17000ft Lakhmaga passes under Sangla Subdivision of Kinnuar. Among those missing are belonged to Kolkata and Uttarakhand.
 It was mainly dry in the state but minimum temperature of state was one to two degrees below normal. Minimum temperature of Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti was at minus 3.5 degrees today.
