Himachal’s law and order situation is bad, government is in sleeping mode: Bihari Lal
BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that the law and order situation in Himachal Pradesh is still deteriorating tremendously. The investigation of Bilaspur firing case and BBN firing case is going on at a very slow pace.
He said that the State General Secretary of the State Football Association has been punished in the case of exploitation of women players of Himachal Pradesh. The State General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Football Association has been banned for four years on the charges of exploitation of women football players, this is unfortunate. Even before this, many cases of women harassment have come to the fore in the state. The people of the state are feeling insecure. Also, a person committed suicide by hanging himself in Salasi village of Jhanduta subdivision of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.
He said that the state crossed all limits when mafia and gangsters started dominating Himachal. A sensational case of alleged threat to an officer in Bangarh jail of Una district from gangster Goldy Brar’s group has come to light. As soon as intelligence information about this case was received, the police administration became alert about the security of jail officers. It is worth noting that many dangerous gangsters and criminals associated with various gangs from other states including Punjab are imprisoned in the jails of Himachal Pradesh. At present, many gangsters of Punjab are lodged in Una district sub-jail as accused in various cases, whose trial is going on in various courts. Due to the accused associated with these, Himachal Police has received intelligence input of threat to a jail officer from gangster Goldy Brar’s group, after which the police administration has started investigating this case. The law and order situation in Himachal has really become unfortunate. But the Chief Minister and his friends are in sleeping mode.
