Announces to change medium of education in Medical and technical institutions
Prime Minister Nerandra Modi said today that Himachal was his ‘Karam Bhumi’ before becoming Chief Minister of Gujarat as he served in state for many years. On Tuesday on the completion of 8years in the government he was addressing a public meeting on the Ridge ground here today. He also announced plans to open a medical college in every district of the country and change the English medium with mother languages in Medical and Technical institutions so that sons and daughters of poor could get the benefit of having technical education in such institutions. He said that despite being in power for eight years he never felt him as a Prime Minister but as the servant of the people. He said that he today takes commitment to keep on serving the people as 130 Crore his family members. Praising himself to do away with repentant corruption prevailing prior 2014 he said that there was only rule of loot and plunder earlier but today World Bank praised India for increasing the pace of development and extended the benefits of schemes to every people. ” India is the 3rd largest start-up nation in the world as every week one thousands crores of companies are being set up here” He said . The state of Himachal Pradesh is benefiting from the Vibrant border scheme to increase hospitality units as it is tourist states . Earlier to 2014 money meants for public schemes were missing in the midway without going to the hand of beneficiaries he said that in last eight years the country is in the secured hands and the border is more safe. Mr Modi said that ‘one rank one pension scheme’ was provided by the NDA government after the delay of four decades and arrears dues of OROP was disbursed promoitely to ex-servicemen in the country. He said that every third indudual of Himachal is serving in the army or ex servicemen immensely benefited from the scheme. PM said that with innovation of technologies, drone services to be extended in the far- flung area of state to make basic health services available to unconnected areas in the coming time. The surgical strikes are being conducted on the borders, public welfare schemes and law and order improved people praise the government for providing benefits for them. He said that the system of development and ease of doing business became the first priority of the government and there is no need or any political push and approach to get benefit of government schemes as it is available to 100 people . He said that under the DBT scheme 21 Crore farmers having government assistance money in their accounts compared to earlier it is not missing in the mid. In the past only ten paisa was reaching to such beneficiaries he said that 2.25 Lakh Crore were being provided to 21 crore farmers per annum and not a single penny could be stolen. ” Without DBT around 9 Crore fake beneficiaries were getting benefits of various government schemes which now removed from the various government schemes. He said that today five Crore poor have shelter on their hands in last eight years two lakh insurance cover were provided to poor under the 45 crore Jan Dhan accounts . The Centre government had provides six crore water connections under Jaljiwan Misshan in last few year. Prime minister said that 35 Crore people benefited from the PM Mudra Scheme including 70 per cent women who became entrepreneurs under PM Mudra Yojana. Mr Modi earlier interacted with beneficiaries of Centre schemes live from Kerela,Bihar, Harayana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Leh-Ladhakh, Assam, Tripura and Assam. Mr Modi interacted with ex-servicement Tashi Tundup of Leh Ladhak and Lalita Devi of Bankura Bihar who got PM Awas scheme. PM also intereact with Pankaj Shani of West Tripura who got Ration Card, Santoshi of Kulbargi village of Karnataka and Sama Devi of Sirmaur who got benefits of Rs 6000 and Rs 1.50 lakh PM kisan and free housing schemes respectively.
