Himachal Pradesh records three deaths and 1,804 new cases

Three more people lost their lives and 1,804 new positive Corona cases were reported in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
The number of active cases has gone up to 6,937 and that of the confirmed cases at 2, 36,639. The number of cured cases has also increased to 2, 25,800, said a spokesman of the HP health Department.
The spokesman said that only 338 older cases were cured and the number of total fatalities had risen to 3,870.
He said that 156 new positive cases were reported in HP’s Hamirpur district today.
Those were found positive included eighty-one new cases from the NIT, Hamirpur campus, and fourteen from Hamirpur police station.
The total number of positive cases on the NIT campus has gone up to 510.
Meanwhile, the SP, Hamirpur, Dr. Akriti Sharma has closed the local Police station for forty –eight hours for sanitization following the detection of fourteen staffers of the police station positive.
She said in a statement that those who wanted to file any complaints could approach the local Women police station till the main police station was closed.
On other hand, the state government has issued strict guidelines to all the Deputy Commissioners and the Chief Medical Officers to manage the Covid-19 guidelines in totality and ensure that the virus was not spreading further.
