Himachal Pradesh High Court grants First Bail under the new Criminal Laws
In a first Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla grants First Bail under the new Criminal Laws i.e., The Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 precisely under Section 483 of the said Act for alleged offence punishable under Sections 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Sections 352 and 351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 as per FIR registered on 1.07.2024 (mid-night)
Mr Ganesh Barowalia while arguing the matter stated that the petitioner is of old age and the allegations are vague and not specific
