Himachal Leaders Seek Divine Blessings at Maha Kumbh 2025

Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh and his mother, Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh, took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh on Monday, February 3, 2025.

Sharing the experience on Facebook, Vikramaditya Singh expressed that their prayers were dedicated to the peace, prosperity, and well-being of all 70 lakh families in Himachal Pradesh.

A Profound Spiritual Experience

Describing his first-ever Maha Kumbh participation as unforgettable, Vikramaditya Singh highlighted the massive spiritual congregation where millions gathered for divine blessings. “Taking a dip in the holy Ganga at sunrise filled me with new energy and inner peace,” he wrote.

Pratibha Singh also reflected on the significance of the event, calling it a celebration of India’s ancient heritage and faith. “The holy bath at Sangam deepens our spiritual roots. I prayed for harmony, health, and prosperity for every family in Himachal Pradesh,” she said.

Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri Also Joins the Ritual

Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, along with his daughter Aastha Agnihotri, also took a dip at the Triveni Sangam. Calling it a soul-stirring experience, he shared his gratitude on X, saying, “May the grace of Mokshadayini Maa Ganga, Jagatjanani Maa Yamuna, and Vidyadayini Maa Saraswati always be upon us.”

Following the ritual, Agnihotri visited various religious sites in Prayagraj and Varanasi, interacting with devotees and learning about the spiritual traditions of the region. “The Sangam is more than a confluence of rivers—it’s a symbol of faith, devotion, and positive energy,” he remarked.

The Maha Kumbh 2025 witnessed the participation of leaders, saints, and devotees from across the country, reaffirming India’s rich spiritual and cultural traditions. The presence of Himachal’s top leaders at the sacred event not only marked their personal devotion but also symbolized their prayers for the state’s collective well-being.
