Himachal Kisan Sabha met SDM Joginder regarding the pending demands of local people
Under the leadership of State Vice President of Himachal Kisan Sabha and Zilla Parishad member Kushal Bhardwaj, today a joint delegation of 5 villages Upper Andarahalu, Lower Andarahalu, Tikkar, Pelohan and Basehar met SDM Joginder regarding the pending demands of the area related to roads, water, electricity and revenue department. Met separately with the City, Public Works Department Executive, Engineer, Executive Engineer of Electricity Board, Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department, and other officials. On this occasion, memorandums were also given on various issues and detailed discussions were held with the officials on every issue. In the meeting with the Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department, he demanded re-tireing of Bharadu-Galmatha road and filling of potholes with immediate effect. Apart from this, took strong cognizance of no work being done on the shelves lying under MNREGA for concreting of roads like Lower Andarahalu, Pelohan, Basehar, Batnahar, Karanj, Chanehar, Veerdhar etc. even after two and a half years and demanded to release the material for these roads soon. . Apart from this, a demand was also made to approve Chhamb Manaru road from NABARD. Kushal Bhardwaj also demanded immediate opening of the Harijan Basti road stuck at the base of Gaduhi-Bhaura Kasa road. Apart from this, there was also a demand to send JCV for laying culvert in the lower Andarahalu drain and repairing the approach roads of the area. Also demanded construction of traffic bridge on Athrah Nala, paving of the Bihun-Kund-Galmatha road till Galmatha and construction of Kun Ka Tar bridge. The officials assured that the above works will be completed soon in a phased manner. JVC will be sent in the next few days and pipes will also be laid on the road in the Andarahalu drain. Patchwork will soon be done on the Bharadu-Galmatha road. Kun Ka Tar bridge comes under Mandi Mandal, hence this issue will be taken up with Mandi Mandal.
In the memorandum given to the Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Department and the meeting held in the Assistant Engineer’s office, it was agreed that if the concerned contractor does not start the construction work of the lower Andrahalu drinking water storage tank pending for 2 years, the work will be taken back and the work will be allotted to someone else. The work will be started. Even before, the said contractor has given several notices to some departments. The drinking water storage tank of Upper Andarahalu will be connected to water this month and the estimate will soon be prepared and approved for the construction of a new tank in place of the dilapidated tank of Tikkar drain and also in Galmatha. The leakage of Basehar tank will be repaired soon and a staircase will also be built on it this month. Work to replace the rotten or narrow pipeline in the streets of Andarahalu, Tikkar, Pelohan Basehar, Chausi, Banog and other villages will also be started this month. As per the proposal of the Zilla Parishad member, a new motor has been purchased for the Bentlunala-Dhar lift drinking water scheme and it is proposed to bring one more motor. The drinking water schemes being built under the JJM scheme will be completed soon and the work of laying pipelines in every village has also been allotted.
In the meeting with the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Board, Kushal Bhardwaj suggested to shift the transformer installed near Bharmera across Ranakhad to the pump house across the ravine to run the motor of Bentlunala Dhar Scheme, to reduce the load of the combined transformer of Andarahalu and Basehar. Demanded to installation a separate transformer in Bashar otherwise the entire village should be connected through 3 phase. Apart from this, the delegation has also demanded to make an estimate and provide funds to construct the section office of the board on the land donated by the people in Tikkar.
The delegation also met with the SDM and demanded the demolition of the dilapidated building of Patwar Khana Andrahalu and the construction of a new building. Kushal Bhardwaj said that till the construction of the new building, this Patwar Khana should be run in a private building instead of being taken to Bihu or Manaru, for which the owner of the private building, Subedar Hem Singh Dharwal is also ready. Due to this, the people coming under the jurisdiction of this Patwar Khana will not have to go far for their work.
On this occasion, Kushal Bhardwaj said that for many decades the entire Bharadu Zilla Parishad ward area has been continuously neglected in terms of development, but we have continuously raised our voice against this neglect on the streets as well as inside the Zilla Parishad, due to which from Machhayal to With the solidarity of the public to a large extent, many pending works have been completed. Now people are joining our voice against the neglect of the area and its results are also coming to the fore.
