Himachal bags 2nd position for implementation of ICJS Project
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu congratulated the Prosecution Department of the state for bagging 2nd position across India for implementing the Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) project ‘Prosecution Pillar’. The department was awarded during the 5th conference on good practices in Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System/ICJS held recently in Delhi.
Director Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, in the gracious presence of Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, presented the award to the Secretary, Home, Abhishek Jain, along with other senior officers of the Prosecution Department here today.
The secretary Home briefed the Chief Minster about the ICJS program and All India e-Prosecution portal in which Himachal competed with other states.
Chief Minister expressed hope that the department will continue to ensure transparency and accountability in the system, expediting justice for the poor and needy.
