Himachal Assembly mourns demise of former BJP legislator
Himachal Pradesh Assembly paid tribute to the demise of former MLA and former Chief Secretary of Jharkhand B.K. Chauhan, who passed away in Delhi on November 29.
Paying obituary reference to the demise of B.K. Chauhan, a former BJP MLA was elected twice from 2007 to 2012 and 2012 to 2017 from Chamba Sadar Assembly.
Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, Hans Raj, Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania and former Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar, Neeraj Nayar and Dr Janak Raj also paid tribute to Mr Chauhan.
The chief minister said that Mr. Chauhan was a Former IAS officer and remained in the post of Deputy Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary.
