High reaches receives snowfall in HP
High reaches of Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Chamba and Mandi district received first major snowfall on Sunday and down stream were lashed by the rainfall. Gondala in Lahaul-Spiti got three centimeter snowfall. High reaches of Manali, Jaloripass of Kullu, Manimahesh of Chamba and Shikari Devi of Mandi receive light snowfall increasing cold wave in the down stream. Dalhousie had 13 mm rsin, Gulyani-11mm, Chamba-8 mm, Saloni-6 mm , Kheri-5 mm and , Kukumseri two mm. The Minimum temperature of Keylong was zero degrees.The Met Office forecast rain or snow in few places of High reaches and rain in isolated places in mid hills in next 24 hrs.
