Heatwave in plane, Tourists rush to Shimla & Manali

To avoid perching heatwave in the plane, Tourists making beeline toward Tourist resort Manali, Shimla, Kufri and Dalhousie in the state. Shimla police issued advisory to general public that they should keep in mind the heavy inflow of traffic while planning your journey this weekend. SP Shimla informed that as many as 11,596 vehicles have entered Shimla via Shoghi in the last 36 hours. Tourist rushed increased in Shimla, Manali and other Tourist destination as tourist are rushing hills station to avoid heatwave in the plane. In last 24 days hrs Mercury plummet by one to two degrees with light Snowfall on High reaches and rain showers in some Koksar in Lahaul Spiti received one cm snow. Pandoh(Mandi) had 7 mm rain, Wangtoo(Kinnaur) Aghar(Hamirpur) and Sundernagar (Mandi) 4 mm each, Rampur(Shimla) 3 mm, Janjehli, Bijahi Mandi and  Hamirpur two mm each. Maximum temperature of Una was 39 degrees, Bilaspur 35.5, Nahan 32.4, Kangra 33.3, Hamirpur 34.5l7 , Dharmshala 32.3, Solan 31.3, Chamba 30.6., Shimla 24.6, Dalhousie 19.8,Kalpa 21.4 & Keylong 17.3.The Met Office forecast light to moderate rain and thunder showers in isolated places and heat wave in Shimla, Kullu and Mandi district.
