Governor appoints Dr. Anju Sharma as a new member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission
Dr. Anju Sharma, a fellow of All India Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla, was appointed as a member of the Himachal Pradesh Service Commission. Her appointment was approved by Himachal Pradesh Governor Today
Dr. Sharma’s appointment would be for a period of six years from the date of joining or till she attains the age of 62 years.
Anju Sharma is an economist and holds the post of Principal-cum-OSD (College) from the Directorate of Higher Education (D.O.H.E.), Himachal Pradesh Shimla. She had served as a State Nodal Officer in the All India Survey of Higher Education (AISHE).
She has also served as State Coordinator and Nodal Officer Anti-Women Sexual Harassment Cell in DoHE.
Among many initiatives, she has also served as Member Secretary of the Screening Committee, Skill Impart Component Training Program, and National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) in Higher Education in Himachal Pradesh.
She has also been called as a subject expert in the Himachal Public Service Commission several times.
She also participated in the Expert Committee/Technical Group, Sport for Statistics Strengthening (SSS) Scheme H.P.
She has also been a guest faculty several times at ICDEOL, Department of Economics, Himachal Pradesh. University.
