Governor Shukla inaugurates Madhav Srishti Bahuaayami Shikshan Sansthan
While inaugurating Madhav Srishti Bahuaayami Shikshan Sansthan at Gan-Ki-Ser at Salogra in Solan district, today, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that education was not limited to bookish knowledge. Education develops moral values in the students, inspires them to adopt a practical approach in life and makes them responsible citizens, he added.
He said that this institution built by Madhav Srishti Sansthan would go a long way in inspiring the students of the surrounding areas to live a healthy, strong and disciplined life by providing meaningful education through Saraswati Vidya Mandir School. He expressed hope that the institute would carry forward its endeavours to encourage the students not only by imparting quality education but also inculcating a sense of responsibility towards society.
The Governor said that teachers play an important role in shaping the society and maintaining excellent cultural values in accordance with Indian traditions. He said that all of the great personalities were result of their idealistic thinking. The efforts of Saraswati Vidya Mandir school and this institute were important for the progress of our nation. Such positive efforts in the field of education should be welcomed and we all should try to make it successful, he added.
Earlier, the Governor performed Hawan and Bhoomi Pujan in Madhav Yoga Auditorium.
Eminent social worker Krishna Gopal presented his thoughts on Indian value tradition and decentralization of development.
Srinivas Murthy, founder of Yoga Bharti, Himachal Pradesh, detailed the activities of the institute.
