Girls continue to excel boys in HP Board 12 result 2022
The bright girls of Himachal continue excel the boys in the HP Board 12 result 2022 . The results declared out yesterday . Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education results Chairman Suresh Kumar Soni announced that it was 93.91 per cent for the 2021-22 academic session as 87,871 students qualified examination. Three top scorer in the examination are girls as Vani Gautam of SVPM Government Model Girls School Ghumarvin ( Bilaspur ) topped the list by securing 494 out of total 500 marks ( 98.8 per cent ) .
Angel Sharma from Chamba and Vanshika Chaudhary of Solan scored 490 marks ( 98 pc ) and bagged 2nd position. Sheetal Verma of Shimla and Tanvi Verma of Solan got 489 marks out of 500 ( 97.8 pc ) and secured 3rd rank .The girls of DAV College , Kangra have made a mark in the examination results. Shaheen Chaudhary secured VI position with 487 marks , while Shaina Sharma secured ninth position with 484 marks out of 500 . Principal of the college , Baljit Singh Patial greeted the topper wishing them bright career ahead. Moreover in the merits lists girls have also out shined them grabbing high percentage as out of total 20 students in merit in Art stream, 19 girls are from government school, while one student is from a private school. In science stream, out of 53 students figuring in the merit list, 39 were girls and 14 were boys. Among the meritorious 39 are from private schools and 14 from government schools. In commerce stream also, out of 19 positions in merit, 17 were girls and two were boys. Twelve were from government schools and seven from private schools .
In 2020-21academic session result was 92.77 per cent as it was no – examination year due to Covid – 19 . This year , when board divided examinations into two parts and held offline and online examinations percentage improvised to 93.91 per cent , he added .
