Girl die in a landslide in Shimla
Unprecedented monsoon rain wreaked havoc in the state on Wednesday when a 14 yrs old girl died and two others injuried by incident of Landslide and rolling down of stoned on a vehicle near Dhalli in the town on Wednesday, Superintendent of police Shimla Ms Monika Bhutunguru confirmed. The mishap occurred at between 5.30 hrs in the morning near Dhalli Tunnel as victims belonged to Zirakpur, (Harayan) selling Ayurvedic medicines in a Vehicle hit by landslide near petrol pump. 14 year old Kareena died and two others ( Asha (16) and Kulwinder (24) belonging to the same family) are in injured who are admitted in IGMC Shimla. The landslide occurred after heavy monsoon rain which is continue since last night. The Met Office sounded advisory of heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, lightning likely at isolated places over plains and low and mid hills for today.
