Four employees hailing from Haryana booked for securing job on fake certificates
The First Information Report was lodged against four India Post employees for securing jobs on the basis of a fake Certificate as a document found in the board and University verification exercise.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Theog Siddharth confirmed that an FIR( No-163/23) was registered at Theog Police station on Tuesday in the case of job grabbing with the help of fake documents.
According to information four Gramin Dak Sevaks were posted in the state who secured jobs by submitting fake documents.
DSP said that the investigation also revealed that employees were assisted by a racket that was busted for getting jobs through fake documents.
An FIR has been registered regarding this in Theog police station of Shimla district. All four accused are residents of Haryana. Their recruitment took place in the year 2021.
The preliminary investigation conducted at his level by the Inspector of the Postal Department, Theog, has revealed that his 10th and 12th-class documents are fake. Their verification has been done by sending them to the concerned education board and university. Throws were found in it.

Among these, one rural servant was serving in Madhan of Theog, the second in Gumma-Kotkhai, the third in Nagan Kotkhai, and the fourth in the Mahasu branch. Police have registered a case against all four and have started further action.
After this, the Inspector of the Dock Department filed an FIR against all four in Theog Police Station. The police have also started an investigation. If necessary, they will also be arrested.
Actually, their recruitment is done on the basis of merit of 10th and 12th class marks. Therefore, to get the job he resorted to fake documents.
It is worthwhile to mention that CBI also busted a similar racket of fake certificates in India Post recently as a large number of Gramin Dak Sevaks were inducted into the department in 2021. Even before this, about a dozen Gramin Dak Sevaks from different areas of the state have been accused of grabbing jobs with fake documents.
Similarly, FIRs had also been lodged against them in different police stations.
