Former HP high court judge & CJ of Patna HC among 5 judges recommend to elevates to SC
Himachal Pradesh highcourt former judge and Chief Justice of Patna high court Sanjay Karol was recommend by collegium along five judges w elevating them to Supreme court today.In SC collegium met
today recommended names of five High Court Chief Justices and Judges for elevation to the Supreme Court. Among thise are elevated are Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Justice Pankaj Mithal, Chief Justice, Patna High Court Justice Sanjay Karol, Chief Justice, Manipur High Court Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar, Judge, Patna High Court Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah, and Judge, Allahabad High Court Justice Manoj Misra .
It is worthwhile to mention that he was also appointed as the Chief Justice of High Court of Tripura on 9th November , 2018. He had been served as Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh with effect from 25th April , 2017. He had elevated as a Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, on 8th March, 2007. He was advocate general of Himachal Pradesh from 1998 to 2003. Designated as Senior Advocate in the year 1999. Remained on the Senior Panel for Central Government, Supreme Court of India. Enrolled as an Advocate in the year 1986. Practiced in various Courts, including The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
