Formation of new executive of Ekta Mahila Gram Sangathan Peeran
Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, a new executive of the village organization of ten self-help groups of Peeran Panchayat has been formed. The election process was conducted under the supervision of Keonthal Cluster Chief Geeta Thakur. In which Bimala Verma has been unanimously elected as the head of the village organization. While Anita Thakur has been made Vice President, Vidya Devi Chauhan has been made Secretary, Veena Devi has been made Co-Secretary, Asha Sharma has been made Treasurer and Kanta Sharma has been made advisor.
Bimla Verma said that she will fulfill her responsibilities responsibly and will strive to make women financially self-reliant. He said that it is a matter of pride that in the present context, rural women have come out of the walls of conservatism and joined the mainstream of the society. And by becoming self-reliant, it has started creating a new history. In this series, the women of this organization will be linked with entrepreneurship so that the women can become self-reliant and feed their families well.
Cluster head Geeta Thakur, while congratulating Bimla Verma on becoming the head of Ekta Mahila Gram Sangathan, said that under the leadership of Bimla Verma, women empowerment will be strengthened in Peeran Gram Sangathan.
