Five die in separate mishap
Two mishap took five lives in Chamba and Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday state government officials said in a press release. A vehicle carrying seven people fell down in a drop gorged at Satrundi, area under Tissa subdivision in Chamba this afternoon killing four persons . Rescue team has left for the spot Relief and rescue work is going on. One died after drowning in Markanda river of Sirmaur district .Tehsildar Nahan Maya Ram informed that body of youth was recovered by the Army diver and deceased identified as Sushmit Thakur of village Rakhni. He along with his friends were swimming in the river when mishap occurred this morning.
Immediate relief to the tune of 20000/- being disbursed to the bereaved family.
