Financial Literacy Camp organized in Nauhradhar

 A one-day financial literacy camp was organized at Anganwadi Circle Center Nauhradhar on Friday courtesy of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited, Nauhradhar branch. Thirty Anganwadi workers and women from three self-help groups participated in it.
While presiding over the program, bank manager Umed Singh Kanwar gave detailed information to the villagers about facilities like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, etc., and Bhim, Himpaisa app. He informed the women about various loan schemes being implemented by the bank. He said that employees with fixed wages can take personal loans up to 20 times their salary. This loan facility is available only in the State Cooperative Bank. Apart from this, the Sashakt Mahila Loan Yojana starts from 21 thousand and its duration has been fixed for five years. If the loan is repaid on time, its eligibility can be increased to 51 thousand.
He said that a loan facility is provided for self-help groups under NRLM. The bank also provides Kisan Credit Card facilities to farmers. Apart from this, deposit schemes are also available with the bank in which Sapno Ka Sanchay for children is also being implemented. In the program, information was given about various schemes being run by the State Cooperative Bank, Central Government, State Government, and NABARD such as Small Savings Schemes, Basic Saving Deposits, Account Schemes, Recurring Deposit, Term Deposit, PMJDY, etc. deposit schemes, Kisan Credit Card, PMEGP, MMSY, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Him Swarojgar Credit Card Scheme, etc. loan schemes and Atal Pension Scheme etc. social security schemes. He advised me not to share any type of PIN and OTP of my bank account with anyone. Local people including Co-Manager Vishal Arya and ICDS Supervisor Vinod Sharma were present in the program.
