Fearless Leopard seen roaming in Komli bank area of Shimla 

This  evening residents of Komalibank left panicked stricken as they found a  cub and a leopard roaming   in the Komli bank forest adjacent to the state Vidhansabha complex probably searching stary dogs. People who were returning back home from evening shift and market left panicked  facing the leopards on the street.  It is not for the first occasion when Leopard have been seen in the town but leopards are often found hunting domestic and stray dogs as Shimla town has thick forest in the down hills .  The local people have demanded the wildlife department to capture the leopard immediately.  People say that the forest department should catch the leopard and imprison it in the bird house before the leopard does any harm like the past incidents.  It is worthwhile to mention that the female leopard had made two children her prey in Shimla’s Kanlog and Downdale area.  Due to which the residents of the city are in the shadow of fear.  Apart from this, the presence of leopard has been seen in different areas of the city.
