FMA organized “Developed India Summit and Awards 2024”
Faridabad Management Association (FMA) organized the “Develop India Summit and Awards 2024” at Hotel Park Plaza, Faridabad. The summit was themed “Leadership Excellence in Nation Building and Economic Empowerment” and was attended by industry leaders and social change advocates who are committed to accelerating India’s socio-economic progress.
The summit began with the inaugural address by Charu Smita Malhotra, Senior Vice President, FMA, followed by an inspiring inaugural address by Mrs. Saloni Kaul, President, FMA, which set a positive tone for the entire event. Dr. Raj Nehru, Vice Chancellor, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, in his address emphasized the importance of skill development, which plays a vital role in nation building.
The responsibility of conducting the summit was completely handled by Monica Anand, General Secretary FMA and Chairperson of Academic Alliance.
The keynote address was delivered by Shri Sudhanshu Mani, popularly known as the father of “Vande Bharat Express”. He shared views on innovation and role of people in national progress. Other key speakers included Seema Jhingan, Founder, Lax Council, who discussed “Empowering Businesses through Legal Framework”, and Debasis Satpathy, NBCC India, who highlighted “Leadership Lessons from Mahabharata”. Binny Kinha, Founder, Nectar Factor Foundation, presented his views on “Sustainable Future of India”.
The summit also presented the “Developing India Corporate, Individual and Nation Builders Excellence Awards”, honouring prominent personalities and organisations who have contributed to India’s progress. Among the prominent personalities who received the awards were:

-L. Venkata Subramaniam- National Award for Excellence in Skill Development
-Dr. Savita Dutt- Community Empowerment Champion Award
-Sartaj Lamba- Wellness Advocate Award
– Rajiv Chaula- Outstanding Contribution in SME Leadership Award
-Manov Rachna Group of Institutions- Outstanding Contribution to Knowledge Award
-Shri Vishwakarma Skill University- Vocational Training Leadership Award
Other honourees included NBCC (India) Limited, DLF Industries Association, and Amas Skill Ventures for their contributions in the field of engineering, SME development, and worker empowerment. Other awardees include Jitin Uppal (Pioneer Enterprises) for the Trailblazer Award in Road Safety and Komal Raina Kaul for the Trailblazer Award in Wellness.
FMA President Saloni Kaul, Executive Director V. Thyagarajan, Senior Vice President Charu Smita Malhotra, General Secretary Monika Anand, Treasurer K.P. Dhiman, and Organizing Committee members Ravinder Singh and Hiresh Girdhar played a significant role in making the event a success.

Faridabad, November 9, 2024 – The Faridabad Management Association (FMA) organized the “Viksit Bharat Summit & Awards 2024” at Hotel Park Plaza, Faridabad. The summit, themed “Leadership Excellence in Nation-Building and Economic Empowerment,” brought together industry leaders and changemakers committed to driving India’s socio-economic growth.
The event commenced with inaugural address by Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra, Sr. vice President, FMA and the presidential address by Ms. Saloni Kaul, President of the Faridabad Management Association (FMA), who set an inspiring tone for the day’s discussions and recognitions. The summit also celebrated excellence with the Viksit Bharat Corporate, Individual, and Nation Builders Excellence Awards, honoring distinguished contributions to India’s progress.
