Expiry date of senior leaders is decided in BJP: Pathania

Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Bhawani Singh Pathania said here today that the Congress government is working with commitment for the welfare of sections, while the BJP has an ‘expiry date’ for its senior leaders. He said that BJP leaders are openly insulting their senior leaders from the platforms and no one is questioning them. He said that what service will a party provide to the general public which is not able to respect its senior leaders?

Pathania said that one faction of BJP is working as per the strategy of eliminating the other faction and its senior leaders are being humiliated from public platforms.

The Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission said that Congress is a party of respect for the elderly and the state government has started many schemes for the welfare of the elderly. He said that the present state government has started the Mukhyamantri Sukh Arogya Yojana, under which free medical facilities are being provided to all the farmers and elderly people above 70 years of age in the state. He said that to secure the future of the government employees of the state, the present state government has also restored the old pension so that the government employees who have dedicated their lives in the service of the state do not have to extend their hands to anyone in their old age and they can avail their pension. Can live life with self-respect.

Bhavani Singh Pathania said that the present state government is the government of the common man and is engaged in public service day and night. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the government is working to protect the interests of women, youth, laborers, farmers and gardeners along with respecting the elders.
