Election Commission of India (ECI) notified the names of newly elected members of HP Vidhan Sabha
In pursuance of Section 73 of the Representation of People Act, 1951, the Election Commission of India (ECI) notified the names of newly elected members of HP Vidhan Sabha alongwith their party affiliation which was presented to Himachal’s Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar here today.
Principal Secretary ECI Rahul Sharma alongwith Chief Electoral Officer Maneesh Garg met the Governor and presented a certificate containing names of members elected in recently held Vidhan Sabha elections.
The Governor also congratulated ECI for smooth conduction of elections in the State besides their sustained efforts for ensuring inclusive elections which resulted in achieving record poll percentage in Vidhan Sabha Elections 2022.
