Eight workers burns in a furnace blast
Eight workers injured after a sudden blast in the Agarwal Steel Industry Company furnace under Gawalthai industrial area of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Spokesperson of state diaster Management authority said that eight people burnt in the mishap were rushed to civil hospital Una for the first aid. Moreover six who suffered grevious injuries have been referred to PGI from there. Police reached the spot and started investigation.A identified as Deep Ram informed l
the police about the mishsp. The complainant said that around 2:30 am, a sudden blast took place due to excessive steam generation in the furnace of the barber company. During this, the liquid (lava) came out and fell on his other companions, due to which their body was badly scorched. The person has alleged that the accident took place due to the negligence of the company management. If they had a safety kit they might have been saved. The matter has been confirmed by SHO police station Kot Gaurav. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur express concern on the factory mishap.
