Aam Aadmi Party Women’s Wing President Nirmal Thakur said that the BJP government of complete double engine is failing in bringing development in Himachal. For five years, BJP central leaders did not come for development in Himachal and now they are misleading the public by presenting false development figures at the time of elections. Nirmal Sharma questioned the Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi and said that she is not talking about the issue of inflation. Meenakshi Lekhi, who claims to be women’s empowerment, tell how empowered a woman has become due to inflation. Due to inflation, it has become difficult for women to run the kitchen. The Modi government at the Center has imposed GST on food items like milk, curd, flour, rice, due to which the life of women has become difficult. Women are barely able to arrange food in the kitchen. Meenakshi Lekhi is claiming that women are getting empowered. The Jai Ram government of the state has failed to provide development for five years. Due to which Jai Ram Thakur is now needing the central leaders to come to mislead the people of the state and present false development figures. But the people of the state are not going to be misled by the BJP’s election rhetoric. The people have made up their mind to change the government and the Aam Aadmi Party has become the choice of the people as an honest alternative.

Nirmal Sharma said that the central and state governments have completely failed in providing employment to the youth of the state. At the time of Lok Sabha elections, BJP had promised the youth that 2 crore youth would be given employment every year. The people of the state should be told by Meenakshi Lekhi how much the promise of employment has been fulfilled. The youth of the state, troubled by unemployment, are agitating on the streets against the government. The number of unemployed youth in the state has reached close to 14 lakh. Jairam Sarkar has failed to provide employment to the youth of the state. But the Union Minister is not talking on the issue of employment. Along with this, the education and health system of the state is in shambles. Meenakshi Lekhi is not talking about this and is misleading the public by presenting false figures. The people of the state are not going to be misled by the claims and promises of the BJP. People are seeing that BJP makes promises at the time of elections and forgets when it comes to power.
