Dr Kuldeep Tanwar submits Memo over Pathetic condition of Kasumpti School
Father of Himachal Pradesh state literacy mission Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar today submitted memorandum to Director Education here today seeking improvement in the pathetic condition of school and Educational Institutions in the Kasumpti Assembly stating that most of schools are suffering from lack of effective students teachers ratio abd neglected infrastructure. He said that memorandums were submitted to Director higher and elementary education by the members of Himachal Pradesh Kissan Sabha and local gram panchayat representatives . He said that most of students getting schooling in state Education are already left behind in their academic studies for last two years during COVID-19 pandemic. He showed concern that If the level of education being offered in state schools in Kasumpti Assembly would not immediately altered many children would be left behind in their studies. He said that it is necessary to have sufficient pupil teacher ratio and enough space should be available in every school for each children to sit and need positive environment. He said that state school students would not able to compete in front of students studying in the towns. He said that gap already exists in the quality of Education infra between the two moreover means of transport and communication are almost negligible or less in the rural areas. The memorandum mentioned that parents of the students are financially weak as they come from the deprived section of the society. He said that Government expected to footed its efforts in such schools to offer better and equal opportunities of education for such children as prescribed in the Right to Education Act. He said that in Kasumpti assembly constituency, schools having the posts of teachers but they are lying vacant. He said that number school needed to upgrade to reduce the walking ling distance due to tough geographical conditions. In Marandi-Padhechi Government Primary School condition of the school building is very dilapidated. Its roof is also broken. Water drips from the roof and the children find it difficult to sit inside the rooms in the rain. The Education Department should complete all the formalities as soon as possible to get the land of the school building in the name of the department. , Provision of funds should be made immediately for the repair of the building. Government Primary School, Government Primary School, Tikkar has an admission of 61 children. , Tikkar ratio but there are only 2 teachers here which is not student-teacher compliant. At the same time, there are only two rooms in the school which are not enough to accommodate such a large number. Budget provision should be made for making extra rooms in the school. In Government Midle School Saul the post of teacher is lying vacant after the retirement of language teacher (Shastrii) this post should be filled so that the studies of the students do not suffer.
