Discussion on Drug Problem at Sanjauli Government Senior Secondary School, Shimla
At the Sanjauli Government Senior Secondary School in Shimla, where approximately 600 students attend classes in two shifts, a discussion on the issue of drug addiction was held. The meeting included all 50 teachers of the school and the Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti team. Sanjauli is known as a hub for drugs, and the discussion aimed to address this pressing issue.
The team devised a plan to engage with students and parents through the school and ensure regular intervention. While the teachers were positive about tackling the issue, the situation remains concerning. Addressing the problem without the desired support from parents is not easy. However, efforts will continue.
