Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Aghyotri flags off Naganoli-Una bus service

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Aghyotri on Wednesday inaugurated the Raja Bhrithir Main Gate constructed for Rs 4.5 lakh at Naganoli and the Lift Drinking Water Scheme constructed for Rs 5.43 crore at Naganoli under the Haroli Assembly constituency. Along with this, the Deputy Chief Minister also flagged off the HRTC bus service running from Naganoli to Una. Apart from this, Mukesh Agnihotri also inaugurated the lift drinking water scheme built at a cost of about Rs 7.15 crore in Dehlan under Una assembly constituency. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the HRTC bus service has been started to provide transportation facilities to the people of the Naganoli area. He said that this bus will leave from Naganoli at 8.15 am and will reach Una at 9 am via Panjawar-Pandoga-Bhadsali. This HRTC bus will leave from Una at 5.15 pm and reach Naganoli at 6 pm. Mukesh Agnihotri said that it is the priority of the government to provide clean drinking water to every house in the Una district. He said that adequate drinking water and irrigation facilities are being provided in every area without any discrimination. He said that in this series, the lift drinking water scheme was inaugurated in Naganoli Panchayat for Rs 5.43 crore. About 1208 people of Naganoli Panchayat will benefit from the formation of this scheme which includes three villages Naganoli, Naganoli Haar, and Lawana Majra. He said that a lift drinking water scheme has been constructed in Dehlan for Rs 7.15 crore and dedicated to the people. About 8005 people of Dehlan Upper and Dehlan Lower Panchayats will be benefited from this scheme. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that seven drinking water schemes were approved in the district under Asian Development Bank finance, including Baliwal, Haroli, Naganoli, and Haroli under Haroli Vis. Vangarh, Dehlan, and Rakkar are included under Pubowal and Una divisions. He said that six schemes constructed for Rs 42.6 crore have been completed and handed over to the local people. He informed us that the work of the Rakkar Lift Drinking Water Scheme will also be completed within the stipulated period. Apart from this, other drinking water schemes being built in the district under ADB for Rs 82.5 crore will also be completed by the end of this year.
