Kisan Sabha & Mahila Samiti met Add Director Health & Family Welfare under the leadership of Dr Tanwar

A delegation of Himachal Kisan Sabha and Janwadi Mahila Samiti met Additional Director Health and Family Welfare Department , Himachal Pradesh Rajeev Kumar on Tuesday to improve and improve health services in Kasumpti assembly constituency. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Surekha Chopra was also present on the occasion.

Under the leadership of Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, the delegation submitted its memorandum mainly on three issues. In this, filling up of vacant posts in health institutions built in Kasumpti area , Provision of sanctioned beds in hospitals and ambulance facility for Junga and getting the land of health institutions of Dharech and Mashobra in the name of the department and Community Health Center Koti and Primary Health Centre , Marking of land for TRAI.

The Additional Director assured the delegation that they would soon take necessary steps on these demands. He said that they would soon appoint lab technicians in Junga and radiographers in Mashobra. He said that soon from the Krishna Diagnostic Lab, testing facilities would be made available at the level of Civil Hospital and Community Health Centers and samples would also be collected from the Primary Health Centers for testing.

Additional Director and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Surekha Chopra admitted that the Primary Health Center , Kufri and Dharech should be upgraded.

Primary Health Center in the meeting , The issue of non-availability of doctors in TRAI for a long time also arose. Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar said that appointment of doctor is very important in TRAI as it is one of the remote panchayats of Mashobra block. The Chief Medical Officer also agreed to this.

State President of Kisan Sabha, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar informed that on 18th February also a delegation had met Director Health regarding the same issues, after which staff nurses and pharmacists were appointed in Junga and Koti and Community Health Centre, Ambulance was arranged in Mashobra.

Dr. Tanwar said that 51 posts are still vacant in various categories in Kasumpti assembly constituency, out of which 47 posts are vacant in rural health institutions. Whereas in Civil Hospital Junga, 25 beds instead of the sanctioned 50 beds , community health center In Mashobra 10 beds instead of 30 beds and in Community Health Center Koti, despite the approval of 30 beds, not a single bed is available.

At the same time, there are many institutions whose buildings have been built but the land is not in the name of the health department. The land of Community Health Center Mashobra still belongs to Directorate of Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes & Minority Affairs, Government of Himachal Pradesh is near. primary health centre , Dharech’s building is also built on forest land and its land has not been transferred to the department yet. primary health centre , TRAI is still running in a rented building. For this 5 bigha forest land is required. It also came to the fore in the discussion that the Community Health Center , Additional land would also be required for the koti.

Along with the demand for an ambulance in the Civil Hospital Junga, the Mahila Samiti also demanded the appointment of a women specialist in Junga Hospital. Along with this, due to being in the private house of Shri Inder Singh of the Community Health Center in TRAI , the payment of rent from April 2022 was also made aware.

Apart from this, the problem of water in Junga Hospital , cleaning staff , The demand for mess for the patients was also raised. Additional Director Rajiv Kumar informed that now the work of cleaning and arranging food etc. for the patients will be done outsourced only.

Meanwhile, the delegation also met Mission Director NHM Hemraj Bairwa and urged to set up an ambulance service for Junga.
