CPI(M) candidate Dr Kuldeep Tanwar condemns Congress and BJP for neglecting roads in Kasumpti
He said that the public representatives of this area have completely failed to bring these roads under the Forest Conservation Act. Remember, Anirudh Singh is a Congress MLA from Kasumpti constituency.
He said that the situation is that most of these roads have been damaged due to heavy rains this time and no one is repairing these roads at the government level due to lack of government and public works department. He has to maintain them with his own money.
He revealed that these roads were made overnight for political gains without taking the approval of the Forest Conservation Act. His gesture was that when elections come, the leaders of political parties make roads overnight to get votes by installing JCBs, but they are not regular and neither the Public Works Department nor the government takes them under their control. Due to this practice of making roads overnight by installing JCBs, the land also gets spoiled.
Left party CPI(M) candidate and Kisan Sabha President Kuldeep Singh Tanwar was on a visit to Dhali village of Baldenya Panchayat today amid heavy rains. He said that this village is the largest Dalit village in the tehsil where 85 percent Dalits live. This village has also been adopted as a model village. Here people had built a road. Due to heavy rains in this rainy season, this road is almost completely destroyed. But there is no one to take care of it. He raised the question that what is the reason that 173 roads were approved under the Forest Conservation Act under Theog Vidhan Sabha and they have become regular roads. But in Kasumpti light only 26 roads have been approved and rest more than 300 roads are irregular. People of most of the villages are facing difficulties in transporting vegetables like tomato beans, capsicum etc. from the village.
