Covid 3rd wave : Himachal Cong to launch help people
Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee decided to launch Help People drive in wake ofCovid Third wave and rising of CoronaVirus cases in the state recently.
AICC Co-incharge Sanjay Dutt and HPCC president Kuldeep Singh Rahtore reviewed the functioning of Disaster Management\Committee during a virtual here today and decided to take initiative of All India Congress Committee in Himachal to assist Covid affected people.
Mr Dutt told us that beside helping people an awareness campaign and destruction of Mask and Sanitizwers is being organised.Party have come forward in 1st and 2ndwave to distribute masks and other assistance to frontline workers and donated theOxygen concentrators and ICU units to Indira Gandhi Medical College.
Party President Kuldeep Singh Rahtore came down on ground zero in 1st and 2nd wave to help the police and otherfrontline helpers beside it distribute sanitisers and masks in the state. A letter demanding one crore rupees from AICC forCovid disaster management also went viral in the social media however the party president claimed that party funds wereutilised for the helping people in Covid time.
The convenor of party disaster management committee Harikrishan Himral said that party district and block presidentswould be coordinated to extend hellps to the COvid affected people which the party could afford from its resources. A reportwould be submitted to parth state headquarters about the progress of helping people . He said that the Gandhi Help line to extendhelp to people 24 hrs would be started.
