Coup to topple Himachal Govt : CMO top official reshuffled

Three days after the failed attempt to toppled Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government in Himachal Pradesh, top Chief Minister Office official reshuffled here today.

A notification issued by the state government said that Rakesh Kanwar, IAS(HP:2007), Secretary (Education, Animal Husbandry and Language, Art & Culture) shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary to the Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, with immediate effect, in the public interest. 

He would continue to hold the charge of Secretary (Education, Animal Husbandry and Language, Art & Culture)  and additional charge of the post of Secretary (Information & Public Relations).

He would replace the Bharat Khera(1995 batch IAS) as Secretary to CM. Mr Khera has also recently opted for Central depution and appointed additional secretary consumer affairs food and public distribution in the Union government.
